Bugaboo is a Dutch mobility company that makes and sells innovative modular pushchairs in distinctive styles for infants and toddlers.

Bugaboo products are available in more than 50 countries, the company employs around 800 people worldwide, and has sales offices in Australia, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States as well as its own assembly factory in China. Bugaboo is a design-driven company, meaning that the design department lead the development of new products.

Role in the project

Bugaboo is running one of the four industrial pilots and providing input to the specification of the ResCoM framework during requirement analysis. Bugaboo will provide real-life testing of ResCoM design methodologies and tools during re-design of one of its products. Bugaboo will provide feedback during development of the ResCoM platform, and will implement and evaluate the ResCoM framework during the industrial pilot evaluation.
